Aloo Gobi Recipe in Urdu
Aaloo Gobi is a tasty and Salty dish which is a winter recipe cooked in Pakistan and India. There are 346 calories ad 10.5 grams of fat in this Urdu recipe. Aaloo Gobhi is good for those who want to gain weight as it contains lot of fat.
500 gm of potato (chop potatoes in square shaped pieces)
40 gm garlic paste
500 gm chopped Cauliflower
8 gm Red chili powder
80 ml oil
1 2/3 ts of Coriander powder
5 green cardamom
1 cup chopped tomato
5 red chilies (cut into two pieces)
1 1/3 ts cumin seeds
1 ts Black pepper powder
½ cup chopped onions
3 ts gram masala
2 2/3 Tbs Ginger paste
1 Tbs chopped coriander
2 Tbs chopped ginger
2 bay leaves
- First step is to heat the oil then fry bay leaves, cardamom, red chilli and cumin seed on the low flame.
- Add and fry chopped onions, garlic, ginger paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander for one minute then put in tomato. Fry this mixture for further five minutes, add cauliflower and potato and cook it for ten minutes.
- Add 100 ml water, cover it with its lid and cook for ten minutes. Sprinkle salt and black pepper powder on it then garnish it with chopped ginger and coriander.
- Serve Gobi Aalu with Roti.
