Ingredients:
1/2 kg Mutton
1/2 kg Basmati Rice
1/2 cup Ghee
1/2 cup Yoghurt (whipped)
2 Onion (middle)
Salt as required
10 Garlic
2 inch piece Ginger
2 tsp Coriander seeds
2 tsp Fennel seeds
2 Bay leaf
1 Cinnamon
6 Black cardamom
4 Clove
10 Black Pepper
1/2 tsp Black cumin seeds
Recipe:
- First take a pan, put eight glasses of water and meat in it.
- Place the pan on the medium heat then add chopped onion, garlic (6 pieces), ginger, salt, fennel seeds and coriander in the water. Let it to be cooked very well.
- When half of the water gets dry, take the meat out of pan and strain the soup.
- Heat the oil in another pan, fry chopped onion then add all the spices and rice. Fry it for five minutes then add soup in the rice and cover the pan. When all the water absorbed by the rice, keep it on the low heat for ten minutes then serve with ryta
and chatni.
